Learning From The Pros

HFI’s master classes expose Maryland students to the very best talent in the National Touring Broadway industry. Our Master Class program connects local students with Broadway professionals teaching musical theatre skills and providing insight into their careers.

Master Classes

During every National Touring Broadway engagement, we enable Maryland students to interact with Broadway actors, dancers, musicians, choreographers, designers, costumers, and production professionals.

Through virtual or in-person classes, students learn directly from the best in the industry, gaining insight into the inner workings of the business and sparking their interest in the arts.

The Show Must Go On

During the global pandemic from April 2020 to November 2021, we provided over 100 free, virtual workshops to provide emotionally valuable, arts-based learning experiences for over 10,000 students.

We encouraged students who were interested in the arts to continue pursuing their passion and worked to help them develop their artistic talents.

Our Master Class program continues to offer both in-person and virtual classes. Reach out to us today for more information or to schedule a Master Class session for your students.

As an arts educator, we work tirelessly to help students reach beyond their expectations. Each time there is a workshop with the Hippodrome Foundation, students see first-hand their own potential realized in the professional artists who stand before them. The impact is felt throughout the entire school. The school becomes a performing conservatory.

The students focus on the application of the performing skills, and the results are palpable. In a few supercharged minutes, the students grow more confident about who they are and what they want to become. They learn life skills about how to truly listen and respond, find their voice, command an audience, collaborate as a team, and channel their unbridled adolescent energy into works of art.
